Ceremony for admitting someone to the Order of the




Herald:  Now let ______________________ come before Their Royal Majesties.


Crown:  Says personal words about the person's Service to the Kingdom, before or after the scroll is read.


Herald:  Reads the scroll or the text below:


________________ and _______________, King and Queen of the Outlands, to all and singular send Greetings.  Whereas, ______________ is a gentle[man/woman] whose service has shone forth to the enhancement of the Common Weal, it is Our pleasure to admit [him/her] to the Order of the Stagn's Heart that all may know of the esteem in which We hold [him/her].  We grant [him/her] the right to bear the insignia of the Order, to wit:  Vert, a heart Or between the attires of a stag's head cabossed argent, attired, within a bordure embattled Or.

Crown:  Presents the recipient with medallion (which could be done while the scroll is being read), and makes further comments, if any.
